What I would say to an engineer wanting to follow my example is that curiosity and interpersonal skills are crucial for a project manager position. Don’t be scared to dig deep and ask questions to understand the customer’s application, use cases and the technical challenges. You could then set yourself as a reference point for the design team, the customer and the C-level management. Finally, an analytical mind and the ability to establish and manage priorities are also both vital in our job. There’s no need for routine!

I quickly understood that IC’Alps pays particular attention to the development of young recruits by giving them real responsibilities and good prospects for development through the diversity of its projects and its customers. I feel a real “team spirit” within this human-sized company. And, as an elected member of the CSE, I can say that the co-founders of the company are accessible and attentive to their employees. This is what makes IC’Alps so special!

After a 6 months internship in IC’Alps, I have decided to continue the adventure looking for stimulating challenges within a pleasant working environment
