Application Engineer in IC'Alps

As a subsidiary of SEALSQ CORP (NASDAQ: LAES), based in Grenoble and Toulouse, IC’Alps designs analog and digital integrated circuits (“ASIC-Application Specific Integrated Circuit”) for medical applications, as well as for the automotive, security, and other markets. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an:

Your missions

As an Application Engineer within a validation, test, and applications team of about ten people, you will work closely with external customers and collaborate with internal teams (design, marketing, etc.) to define and assess products that best meet customer application requirements, in line with the company’s commercial strategy and the group’s technical capabilities.
Your main responsibilities will include :
  • Developing the product validation plan in a real-world application environment, performing measurements and analyses, and producing validation reports
  • Designing and enhancing the validation and demonstration environment (hardware and software) in collaboration with development teams and the marketing & sales team
  • Assessing application needs in target markets and analyzing competitive offerings to support technical decision- making
  • Building a strong understanding of customer applications and our internal expertise/technology blocks to contribute to product specification development
  • Contributing to the definition and detailed specification of ASIC/SoC (System-on-Chip) designs by leveraging your application expertise, supporting both customers and internal teams (block diagrams, electrical, logical, and timing constraints)
  • Showcasing design and validation work by writing technical articles and application notes in collaboration with ASIC/SoC development teams

Profile and experience

  • Master’s degree in Electronics / Microelectronics
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in analog/mix Electronics / Microelectronics
  • Good knowledge of simulation and validation tools
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Able to work independently while demonstrating strong teamwork and proactivity
  • Excellent communication skills, customer-oriented, with strong negotiation abilities
  • Interest in application development and emerging technologies
  • Fluent in English and French

Contract terms

  • Employment contract : permanent contract (CDI)
